MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) – We’re halfway to the weekend and changes are on the way as we are moving into a stormier pattern. This afternoon it will be warm and breezy as highs climb to near 80. The chance for rain will be low during the daytime hours.
Storms move in tonight ahead of a cold front. These storms will move in during the overnight and will move across the area through around midday tomorrow. Within the line isolated severe storms capable of damaging winds will be possible. A brief tornado also can’t be ruled out. Be Weather Aware tonight and tomorrow morning.
The weather calms down for tomorrow afternoon on what will be another warm and breezy day. Storm chances will increase again on Friday and by Friday night we’ll get another round of storms with the potential for severe storms. Heavy rain will be possible Saturday. By the end of the weekend into next week, it’s scattered storms each day as highs remain near 80 while lows will be in the 60s.
