More WFLA Tracking the Tropics

BATON ROUGE, La. (WKRG) – Residents we spoke to in Baton Rouge Friday night recall the nightmare of a massive flood back in 2016, which devastated parts of the city. Right now the Mississippi River is high and any bit of rain could mean widespread flooding throughout the city. Some forecast models show the area picking up 20+ inches of rain.

News 5’s Blake Brown is in Baton Rouge throughout the storm and he’ll update us as the storm moves in.
