75th anniversary of one of the bloodiest battles of WWII remembered


WASHINGTON, DC (CBS Newspath)–WATCH: Veterans and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff placed a wreath at the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C. Wednesday to mark 75 years since the Battle of Iwo Jima. The 36-day fight was one of the bloodiest in U.S. military history.
