Flake is charged with shooting and killing 17-year-old Tydarius Jones. Witnesses say he was shot multiple times. Witnesses tell News 5 they saw a man and woman get out of a car before shooting at the teen and his group of friends.
The shooting happened Tuesday night on Rickarby Street in Mobile.
Flake was quiet as he was escorted to Metro Jail in the early morning hours.
This isn’t the first time Flake has been arrested. He got out of jail earlier this year after he was charged with menacing.
He’s also been charged with shooting into an occupied building before, that case, from 2018, went before a district judge in March. The judge dismissed the case for no probable cause. That case can still go to a Grand Jury.
