UPDATE (8:29 p.m. 4/7/21): Mobile police say a man suffered non-life-threatening injuries after he was shot at Azalea Pointe Apartments Wednesday afternoon.

Police responded to the apartments at 5:19 p.m., in reference to shots fired in the area. Officers said a man told them another man was shot and had been transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. This investigation is ongoing.

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A shooting was reported at Azalea Pointe Apartments just before 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office Neighborhood Crime Map. Mobile Police responded to the scene.
