CLARKE COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — Clarke County’s EMA Director is urging people to stay off the roads. At least seven homes reportedly have trees that landed on them. Many others have roof damage. There are several powerlines and trees down. At least one crash was caused by a driver hitting a fallen tree. Most of the home damage is in Thomasville in two subdivisions on either side of Highway 43. No injuries have been reported.
Tree and powerline damage was widespread in Clarke County and several roads had to be cleared according to the EMA:
