Child, man shot outside Chuck E. Cheese’s near Birmingham

UPDATE (3:44 p.m.) Ryan Farrell with the Vestavia Hills Police Department said police responded to reports of multiple gunshot-wound victims around 2:56 p.m. at the Chuck E. Cheese’s on Montgomery Highway. 

A man with potentially life-threatening injuries was transported to UAB Hospital. A pediatric female with a gunshot wound was transported to Children’s Hospital in “stable condition at the time,” according to police.

No word yet on the search for a suspect.

VESTAVIA HILLA, Ala. (WIAT) — Several Vestavia Hills Police officers are outside the Chuck E. Cheese’s after a shooting.

No information about potential victims has been released by VHPD in the active investigation.

CBS 42 has a crew on the way to the scene to get the latest information from a VHPD spokesperson.
