UPDATE: Deputies search for vehicle of interest in Pace bank robbery

Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s investigators have released photos of a vehicle of interest in connection with Monday’s robbery at United Bank in Pace. Investigators are looking for a dark gray or dark tan Dodge Ram Quad Cab. 

The truck was seen in the area after the robbery. Deputies aren’t sure if the vehicle was involved in the crime, but they are following the lead because it was seen in the area near the time of the robbery at 11:40 a.m. Monday near the intersection of Highway 90 and Diamond Street.

Deputies say they continue their search for a white man in his 40s or 50s, who was wearing a duel-colored zipper jacket with a dark color on the top and a lighter color on the bottom. Investigators say they suspect was wearing a tan baseball cap with a white bill.

The man was last seen on foot on Diamond Street on Monday, but deputies believe he may have come from the Mississippi area.

The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office tells News 5 the suspect in Monday’s bank robbery in Pace could be passing through Alabama on his way to Mississippi. They say it’s possible he could be from somewhere in Mississippi.

Investigators are urging people to take another look at the surveillance video from the bank and see if they can help recognize the suspect.

PACE, Fla. (WKRG) — Surveillance cameras got a pretty good look at a man suspected of robbing a bank in Northwest Florida.

According to the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the United Bank on Highway 90 in Pace at around 11:45 a.m. on Monday.

Surveillance video from the bank shows a man wearing a dark zip-up jacket and a tan baseball cap with white on the bill.

Deputies say they believe the man is in his 40s or 50s. He was last seen on Diamond Street.
