Santa Rosa County, Fla. (WKRG) — Three people died in a crash on Chumuckla Highway late Friday night into early Saturday morning.  A crash happened near the intersection of Chumuckla Highway and Thornberry Road in Jay at around midnight.

The initial crash report says a pickup truck and SUV collided.  It says the pickup was traveling north and drifted into the southbound lane colliding head-on with a Jeep Wrangler.  A fire started after the collision.  Both drivers died at the scene along with a passenger in the SUV.  The report says next of kin have not been notified yet so they haven’t released the names of the people involved or where they’re from.
