Taco Bell catches fire in Northwest Florida

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — A Taco Bell in Escambia County, Florida caught fire Wednesday, causing a good amount of damage to the building. 

Firefighters responded to the restaurant located at 301 E. Nine Mile Road around 3:30 p.m.

Fire officials say everyone was able to evacuate before the building was enveloped in heavy smoke and fire. 

It took six engines and 2 ladder trucks about 30 minutes to bring the fire under control. They were able to save more than 3/4 of the building, including the kitchen, officials say. 

Officials say no one was injured in the incident. 

The Bureau of Fire and Arson is investigating the cause of the fire.
