Suspect, victim both charged after Pensacola shooting

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — The suspect and victim are both facing charges after a shooting on De Soto Street Monday night. 

According to police, 45-year-old Steven Hodges is charged with one count of aggravated battery. Hodges fired a shotgun at the victim who received wounds to both legs, according to police.

Police also arrested the man who was shot, 31-year-old Charles P. Wiggins, and charged him with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. His injuries are non-life threatening. 

Hodges was released on a $15,000 bond from the Escambia County Jail Tuesday morning.
