Shooting suspect extradited back to Escambia County

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — A man who was arrested in Dallas has been extradited back to Escambia County to face attempted murder charges in an alleged shooting and beating on Lincoln Drive that left two women injured. 

Jeremy Bedgood was booked into the Escambia County Jail shortly after 2 p.m. Friday. 

On February 24 around 2:30 a.m., the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office responded to Lincoln Drive for a shots fired call. Deputies found one female victim with a gunshot wound and another female victim who appeared to have been severely beaten.
