A busy Pensacola road will be repaved and see some other improvements starting this week.
The $2.3 million project will resurface the one-mile section of Airport Boulevard between North Davis Highway and 9th Avenue.
Crews will also improve drainage, install new guardrails, and build new sidewalks with ramps.
Drivers will still have access to businesses and other property and there will be no lane closures between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. Drivers are just asked to use caution driving in the area. The project is expected to be complete by the fall.
