Pensacola neighbors address issues in first town hall meeting

Northwest Florida

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — The newly-elected Pensacola mayor hosted his first town hall meeting Thursday night.

Mayor Grover Robinson and Councilman Gerald Wingate planned the first one in District 5 at Woodland Heights Neighborhood Resource Center on Berkley Drive right off of Fairfield Drive near Davis Highway.

Mayor Robinson said he would like to see citizens show up and let them know what they want from local government.

Residents talked to city leaders about flooding, violent crime, drugs, lack of sidewalks and other issues they would like to see resolved.

The mayor plans to hold a town hall meeting each month in a different district.
