Pensacola man could serve 15 years in prison for spreading HIV

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) – The Pensacola man who knowingly spread HIV could face up to 15 years in state prison.

A jury found Rasheem Bodiford to be a danger to society after he spread HIV to three people.

Authorities say Bodiford didn’t tell his partners about his medical condition before having sex with them.
A judge will take the jury’s findings and determine if he will face jail time or pay a fine.

Bodiford will be sentenced May 17th. The state is pushing for lengthy jail time.
