Pedestrian struck on Mobile Highway in Escambia County, FL

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — A Pensacola man is in critical condition after he was struck while trying to cross Mobile Highway in Escambia County, Florida Monday night.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, 43-year-old Scott Horvath tried to cross the highway near Westover Avenue at around 9:00 p.m.

Investigators say the man was wearing dark clothing and was walking on a stretch that wasn’t well lit.

The driver was not cited.
