An Ohio woman visiting Destin and reported missing this morning has been located. The 77 year old, who reportedly suffers from Alzheimer’s, was found by landscapers in bushes at a bank across the street from where she was last seen. She is being taken to Sacred Heart of the Emerald Coast for treatment and evaluation. Thank you to all who shared.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office issued the following press release regarding a missing Alzheimer’s patient who was last seen early this morning at a Motel in Destin, Florida.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing Ohio visitor suffering from Alzheimer’s and dementia who was last seen around 3 a.m. this morning at The Day’s Inn, 1029 Highway 98 in Destin. 77-year old Joyce Troutman was reported missing around 9:30 a.m. She was last seen wearing a black and purple striped shirt, capri jeans, and white tennis shows. Anyone with any information on Troutman is asked to please immediately call the OCSO at 850-651-7400.
