DESTIN, Fla. (WKRG) – Florida Department of Transportation Officials say repairs to Mid-Bay Bridge are complete slightly ahead of schedule. According to a post on the FDOT Twitter account, the bridge will reopen to “limited traffic” at 11:00 am Wednesday.
A routine inspection last week found corrosion on the bridge. Officials immediately shut down the bridge for repair work. Authorities say the bridge averages about 22,000 cars per day.
