PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — A Louisiana man has been arrested after deputies say he pulled a gun and fired shots in the direction of another man early Monday morning.

The victim said he dropped off his girlfriend at her mother’s trailer home and saw an unfamiliar black SUV parked outside. He dropped her off and circled back around to find his girlfriend touching 26-year-old Shaquill Besst’s face, according to the arrest report.

The victim’s girlfriend’s mother said the two men got into a fight inside her home leaving a hole in the wall and she told them to move outside. The victim said Besst pulled out an AK-47 and fired a round in the direction of his feet outside the trailer. The woman who lives there said she was inside with her children at the time.

Besst was arrested a short time later at West Bobe Street and Oakwood Avenue. He’s still in jail with a $357,000 bond. He is charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, carrying a concealed firearm, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, improper exhibition of a firearm and discharging a firearm on a residential property.
