The man accused of killing two siblings in a DUI crash on Kingsfield Road early Saturday appeared in court for a battery charge today.

24-year-old Hunter Black has no bond and is facing two DUI Manslaughter Charges and two Vehicular Manslaughter charges. Prosecutors say Black cannot be charged with both, it depends on if Black was really intoxicated at the time of the crash. Prosecutors say the evidence points to Black being intoxicated at the time.

Prosecutors say Black was in a pretrial diversion program for people with slight records but that has since been revoked.

Black’s next court date for the battery charge is Feb.5th. The arraignment for the DUI Manslaughter charges is February 1st.
