Investigators: Woman busted with pile of drugs at local hotel

She checked in to a hotel, now she’s been booked into jail. The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office says that they busted 38-year-old Destiny Hobson with $130,000 in dangerous drugs at a local hotel. 

They arrested her June 1st at the Extended Stay on Barrancas Avenue. According to the department’s Facebook post, “During the investigation, Hobson was found to be in possession of 900 grams of Methamphetamine, 11 grams of Fentanyl, 17 grams of a mixture of Fentanyl and Heroin, 20 grams of Black Tar Heroin, cocaine, several Lortab pills, and several Xanax pills. The street value of the drugs that were seized is more than $130,000.”

Hobson is charged with possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, two counts of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, trafficking in Heroin, trafficking in Fentanyl, and trafficking in Methamphetamine.
