Niceville, Fla (WKRG)- Niceville fire officials say an AC unit on a boat caused a huge fire on Sunday evening. 

Smoke was billowing from the boat for about an hour according to witnesses. Firefighters took about ten minutes to get everything under control. Fire crews did not have access to the boat because the deck to the marina caught fire.

Witnesses say there were a few small explosions and the fire seemed out of control. One witness said he could feel the heat from the other side of the marina.

Fire officials say the boat is now a complete loss and there was some minor damage to other boats in the marina.
