FHP Responds to hit-and-run crash in Pensacola

Northwest Florida

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — Officers with the Florida Highway Patrol are investigating a hit-and-run crash in Pensacola. It happened near Michigan Avenue earlier this morning. Investigators say the driver side-swiped a trailer. She was later found sleeping in her car down the street, in the middle of an intersection. An FHP officer parked his car in front of the driver so she could not drive off when she woke up. Charges are pending.
