ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office is reminding parents about having conversations with their children about being approached by strangers.
The sheriff’s office says, in the past week, there were three different reports of teenaged students being approached by strangers.
Deputies say all three descriptions of the vehicles and the strangers are different and the situations vary from the strangers just saying hello to offering the teen candy.
They also happened in separate parts of the county, Sierra Drive and Muldoon Road, Arthur Lane, and Gulf Beach Highway, OCSO reports.
Deputies say the three don’t appear to be related.
The sheriff’s office wants to take the opportunity to remind parents to educate their children on stranger danger.
