PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — Five police officers are being treated after they were exposed to a unknown, white powdery substance. Mike Wood with the Pensacola police department says the officers were pulling over a stolen car when they discovered the substance during a search.
After the arrest, the officers began to experience nausea and headaches. The substance was initially believed to be fentanyl but it has tested negative for the drug. Blood has been drawn from the officers to try and determine what the substance was.
This is a developing story. We will keep you posted.
