It’s the final flight of the 2018 season for the Blue Angels. A big crowd on a beautiful day you can’t ask for much more than that. The Blue Angels get ready to roar over NAS Pensacola. Hundreds of people flocked to the base to get a look at the Navy’s premier elite flying team. People were coming from all around the county, state and southeast to have a look at the show. Family and friends camp out for hours. People that come here say there are few experiences like it in the world.
“I used to be in the military, we’re just having a good time watching some planes go and watch some demonstrations. I love the blue angels, they’re fast, the sonic boom, come on let’s do it,” said David Harr from Pensacola. Some arrive hours before the Blue Angels fly for a good spot for the show.
“I don’t know it’s a lot better than what I’ve seen I haven’t been around shows like this in Greenville, you know we don’t have any airshows like that so it’s fantastic to see the Blue Angels up close,” said Robert Adams from South Carolina.
