DONATE NOW: WKRG holds Red Cross telethon for Hurricane Michael relief

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) – WKRG News 5 partnered with the American Red Cross to raise money for relief efforts in the Florida panhandle that was devastated by Hurricane Michael.

Thanks to those who pledged a donation, together we raised $26,283 to help with relief efforts. 

All proceeds collected will go to the American Red Cross to assist relief and recovery efforts in areas hit by the historic Hurricane Michael. Michael made landfall on October 10 as a very powerful category 4 storm, packing wind speeds of 155 miles per hour. Michael is the strongest storm to hit the Florida panhandle on record.
