OCSO: Man shot after threatening neighbor with stick

OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — Deputies are investigating a shooting that happened Monday morning on Golden Acres Circle in the Crestview area.

The sheriff’s office says they received a call about a “neighbor problem” around 9:38 a.m. from 87-year-old Bobby Sullivan who said his 37-year-old neighbor had threatened him with a stick.

The sheriff’s office says they got a call about 5 minutes later from Sullivan who said a shooting had taken place near his home. When deputies arrived, they found the 37-year-old neighbor, Jarrod Glenny shot. The sheriff’s office says Sullivan told them Glenny had attacked him with a stick, hitting him several times before he fired his weapon.

Glenny was taken to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center via helicopter where he’s currently in critical condition.
