VIDEO: Streets flooded across Clarke County, Alabama

News

Severe flooding from the storm system that moved across the Gulf Coast on Saturday continued to cause problems well into the early morning hours on Sunday.

Parts of Clarke County saw several feet of rain, triggering flash floods in many areas, especially in the Fulton community.

A News 5 crew was traveling north on Highway 43 on its way to Fulton early Sunday morning, when our crew encountered a roadblock in the Thomasville area due to all the water on the highway.

News 5’s Chad Petri will have live updates on the flooding coming up later on News 5 This Morning starting at 6:00 a.m.
