MOBILE, AL (WKRG) — Bond has been set for the two teenagers charged in the homicide on North Ann Street on Wednesday morning.
A judge has set a $100,000 bond on the murder charges for Jyquan Richardson and Jatavious Bailey, both 17-years-old.
According to prosecutors, the teens killed 40-year-old Lakedrick Lucy after he allegedly committed multiple domestic violence assaults on Richardson’s mother. Lucy and Richardson’s mother were said to be dating.
The two teens were arrested after surveillance video connected them to the murder. Bailey has reportedly confessed to his involvement.

MOBILE, AL (WKRG) Mobile police arrested two teenagers overnight in a homicide on North Ann Street.
Jyquan Richardson and Jatavious Bailey, both 17, are charged with the murder of Lakedrick Lucy, 40.
Mobile police were called to North Ann Street near the Old Shell Road intersection around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday after Lucy was found dead in the entryway to a home that had been converted into apartments. An officer on the scene tells News 5 that it appears the victim was shot elsewhere and ran to the home.
