TRIBUTE: Fallen Blue Angel’s Final Flight to NAS Pensacola

The remains of a Blue Angel killed during a practice run in Tennessee have been flown to NAS Pensacola in a memorial flight seen by thousands.

Captain Jeff Kuss, a 32-year-old who grew up dreaming of becoming a Blue Angel, was transported in the utility aircraft “Fat Albert” back to NAS Pensacola for the final time on Tuesday.

Kuss’ remains will then be flown to Durango, Colorado — his hometown — where he is going to be buried on Saturday.

Watch the above video tribute to Capt. Kuss, put together by the folks at WKRG News 5.
