GULF SHORES, Ala. (WKRG) — A suspect who had been on the run for several days after a domestic violence incident in Gulf Shores is now in custody.
Kenny Thomas of Summerdale was picked up by U.S. Marshals in Mobile. He will be transferred to the Baldwin County Jail.
Last Friday, Thomas was the focus of a manhunt in Gulf Shores that shut down a neighborhood on Old Plash Island Road for hours.
Investigators said Thomas got into an argument with a woman he had been dating. During that argument, police said he grabbed the woman’s throat and fired a gun inside the home.
