FAIRHOPE, AL- Students and faculty at Baldwin County’s new Catholic high school had a great first day!
About 100 freshmen and sophomores are enrolled at St. Michael Catholic High School in Fairhope. Juniors will be admitted next year. Seniors can enroll in 2018.
The new school will benefit Catholic students and their parents who live on the Eastern Shore who used to have to drive across Mobile Bay everyday to McGill-Toolen High.
Students will also be active in JV sports this year.
About 80 new students will enroll at St. Michael each year with a maximum enrollment of about 400.
