Shots fired into vehicles, home near Ladd-Peebles Stadium

UPDATE (11/2/21 8:53 p.m.) — Mobile police are investigating after shots were fired into two vehicles and a home on Dublin Street near Ladd-Peebles Stadium Tuesday afternoon.

At about 4:45 p.m. on Nov. 9, police officers responded to Dublin Street and Dublin Street E. for a shots fired complaint. When officers arrived, a man said he was driving westbound on Dublin Street when he heard multiple gunshots. The man’s vehicle had been struck. No one was injured.

Police say the suspect fled the scene before officers arrived. Police officers canvassed the area and found a home on the 1600 block of Dublin Street also was struck by gunfire and an unoccupied vehicle parked at another residence on Dublin Street was hit as well.

Mobile police are continuing to investigate.

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Mobile police say someone fired shots in a vehicle near Ladd-Peebles Stadium Tuesday afternoon.

The shots fired call came in just after 5 p.m. from Ghent Street and Midway Drive. Police found bullet holes in a car but no one who’d been shot.
