ATLANTA (WIAT) — It’s the day Alabama fans have been waiting for since the Crimson Tide won the National Championship in overtime 26-23 against the Georgia Bulldogs earlier this year: the defending champs took their turn on the podium at SEC Media Days.
Nick Saban was in usual form, entering the College Football Hall of Fame like a man on a mission, walking the blue carpet past fans eager for an autograph.

Saban already knew what the main question on every reporter’s mind was: the starting quarterback job.
“I know everyone is going to put their hand up asking about the quarterbacks–it is yet to be determined,” Saban explained.”It will be determined in fall camp who wins the team and there isn’t much else to say about it. Both have shown ability to play successfully–I can say we would rather have two guys than none.”
As for the players, senior running back Damien Harris, junior linebacker Anfernee Jennings and senior center Ross Pierschbacher all spoke at the podium.
