Pricahard, AL (WKRG)- Prichard Police along with Andrew’s Security Enforcement spent Saturday pulling people over, but not to hand out citations.
“I was like ok, this has got to be a joke.”
Instead they gave out gifts
“It’s such a blessing… it is.. it’s a blessing.”
A wrapped box filled with everything you would need for a Christmas dinner. Some are using to feed their families… others are choosing to pay it forward.
“We’re going to a service project right now, and i’m going to bless someone else.”
“I’m going to help my Grandmama.”
For Sandra Hayes that is what this season is all about
“When I think about other people, and i think about situations. My best day is someone else’s worse day. So I just want to bring joy to someone else,” said Hayes.
Andrew Thomas owns Andrew Security Enforcement and partnered with Prichard Police. He says he wants to give back to the community to let them know Prichard Police cares.
“It was shocking because I wasn’t expecting to get the emotions that I got. But to get that was very very exciting, and I feel like the actual mission was accomplished”, Thomas.
