Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash in Bay County, Florida.
A 40-year-old woman of Hialeah, Florida was lying in the road on southbound US 231 when she was fatally hit by a 1998 Dodge Durango driven by 33-year old Ryan Blake Lindsey, according to a press release from FHP.
The release states Lindsey did not notice the woman in time to avoid hitting her. The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
The crash is under investigation.
