Police: Crestview shooting victims seek help at Waffle House

CRESTVIEW, Fla. (WKRG) - Update

Crestview Police release new information identifying the shooting victims that sought help at a Waffle House.

Police say, the shooting occurred on Hickory Street, about a block south of the restaurant.

The Waffle House scene investigation concluded around 10:30 this morning, until which the restaurant was closed to the public, as seen in the attached photo.

The victims were identified as Ron Borner, 35, and Kreskin Robinson, 25. Both are from the Fort Walton Beach area and are listed in critical condition at an area hospital. No motive or suspect in the shooting has been identified. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Crestview Police Department at 682.3544.

The Crestview, Florida Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Friday night.

According to Crestview Police, two victims drove their bullet-ridden white Toyota Sedan to Waffle House on US Hwy 90 west for help. Police say Waffle House employees and patrons rendered first aid until Okaloosa EMS arrived. 

The two gunshot victims were then transported to an area hospital. Their conditions are not known at this time, as the incident remains under investigation. 

Police believe the shooting occurred in a residential neighborhood south of the restaurant.
