UPDATE: Man with autism missing from Pensacola found safe

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) - UPDATE (6:45 pm): Pensacola Police say Detreveon Jones has been located safe and returned home.

Pensacola Police say a Pensacola man with autism has gone missing. 

Police say Detreveon Jones left his home on 2000 N 7th Avenue Thursday, July 5th, between 9-10 a.m.

Detreveon has not been seen or heard from since police say.  Detreveon has autism and is high functioning.

He was last seen wearing a white du-rag/wave cap on his head, white t-shirt with a gray tank top underneath. Purple swimming shorts with a yellow trim, brown and blue shoes with no socks, and a gold ring that he moves to different fingers.

PPD says Detreveon has run away previously and has been located at the Cordova mall, anywhere on 9TH Avenue, and also in the area of Brent and Evergreen Road. Detreveon may return to any of the areas.
