Pensacola Police have now identified the two suspects as 66-year-old Norah Busby and 48-year-old Jenny Ackerman.

After posting their photos, police were able to track down the mother and daughter.

According to an arrest report, Busby admitted she took the luggage because she believed it was hers saying, “she had consumed 6 drinks in a short amount of time and her judgment was off.”

The report states that Ackerman told police she and her mother stole the bags when they were left behind on the carousel.

According to police, the stolen luggage belonged to two people coming in on later flights.

Ackerman did return one of the stolen bags to police.

Both women have been charged with grand theft of less than $5,000.
