The Exploreum has a secret this summer but to learn it, you’ll need to be a bit of a detective. Sherlock Holmes and the Clocktower Mystery is an exhibit that takes you back to the eighteen-hundreds.
The who-done-it story is told in nine chapters. Actors take part in the mystery too.
“Some people know that they’re on the right track and they just know it,” said Paula Sutton, an exhibit explainer/actor. “They have that idea that they have the answer. So I try and listen to figure out whether they are on the right track. Some of them are, and some of them aren’t unfortunately.”
After snooping around and using those deductive reasoning skills, you just may crack the case. Entering the last chapter is a little scary but leads you to the answer.
Now, I can’t give you that answer. You’ll just have to come and find out for yourself. Sherlock Holmes and the Clocktower Mystery will be at the Exploreum through Labor Day, September 5th.
