UPDATE (11/11/2023 9:39 p.m.): Mobile Police have released the victim’s names in Saturday afternoon’s murder suicide investigation.

Mobile police officers went to Houston Street around 12:28 p.m. after a woman found her parents dead inside their home.

Her mother, Francella Gray, 64, had been fatally shot, and her father, Barry Gray, 69, had died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The Mobile Police Department is investigating after a man and a woman were found dead inside a home on the 1000 block of Houston Street Saturday afternoon. 

Mobile Police tell News 5 it appeared to be a murder-suicide. 

Police say there is no threat to the community. The investigation is ongoing.
