Mobile County constable arrested for allegedly pretending to be an officer

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) - The Mobile County Sheriff's Office has arrested a constable who allegedly tried to pull someone over to arrest them.

Jeffrey Morris is charged with impersonating a peace officer and unlawful imprisonment.

According to the sheriff's office, Morris pulled someone over on Wednesday and had them in handcuffs when deputies arrived.

Deputies say Morris had blue lights on, something they say Morris denied.
