Missing teen last seen in Sebring, Florida

SEBRING, Fla. (WKRG) - A statewide missing child alert has been issued for a teenage girl from Highlands County who could be in the Tampa area.

FDLE authorities say 17-year-old Carla Lise has been missing from Sebring for a week now.

The Highlands County Sheriff's Office says she was originally classified as a runaway but new information this weekend leads them to believe she could be in danger.

Lise was last seen at the Quality Inn on US Highway 27 in Sebring. Authorities believe she may be in Tampa or the surrounding area.

Lise is 5'7" with black hair and brown eyes. She may be wearing glasses.
