A local mom took to social media for help locating her son’s stolen truck that held something extra special.

Eva Breland posted on her twitter page stating her son’s truck was stolen Saturday night while parked in front of a friends house in Spring Hill. Inside the truck was expensive fishing gear, since he is on the UMS Bass Fishing Team, and 16-year old Will’s state championship ring.

Will is a sophomore at UMS and a starter on defense. He received the ring four days before it was stolen with his truck. Breland included a photo of the ring and a picture of a truck similar to Will’s.

Breland says the truck has a Triton Boats tag on the front and a UMS State Champs sticker on the back window.  It was parked on McGregor Oaks Court when it was taken.

Breland tweets, “we are heartbroken over the ring,” because Will won several awards and earned the ring. She is says the family will pay a reward to anyone who can help retrieve his belongings.
