Fox News anchor Bret Baier paid a visit to the Port City Thursday night.
He was the keynote speaker for the University of Mobile’s Leadership Conference, a fundraiser for university scholarships.
Baier is the network’s chief political anchor.
Before he spoke to a crowd of several hundred in attendance, we caught up with him and asked his thoughts on the election.
“It’s not over, but the Fat Lady may start singing pretty soon, on both sides. I think that there is a sense that Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump will be the nominees,” said Baier. “And once that is firmed up we are looking at a pretty interesting race in the fall.”
Baier joins a list of impressive speakers for the conference, including Condoleezza Rice, Tim Tebow, and former President George W. Bush.
