BALDWIN CO. ALA. (WKRG)
UPDATE: 12/14/17 — Months after a Robertsdale man goes missing, his friends and family are pleading for answers.
Lieutenant Andre Reid with the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office says they suspect foul play in 40-year old Kyle Levins’s disappearance.
“It’s kind of scary, we’re hoping for the best,” said a friend of Levins, Milton Turney. “We don’t know what to think but we’re scared for his safety. I would really hope that somebody, if they’ve seen him, been in touch with him, know where he is or whatever, anything could help so please let us know.”
The Robertsdale father was last seen by friends in the area of County Road 87 and Highway 90 in Baldwin County.
Investigators describe him as a white male, about 220 pounds, 6 feet tall and was last seen wearing work boots, shorts and a white t-shirt.
“He’s like a gentle giant. Very big, tall guy,” said Milton.
The Sheriff’s Office says it has quite a few suspects of interest. “We know there’s a relatively large group of people that know what happened and I think there’s an even larger group of people that may have heard or seen something,” said Lieutenant Andre Reid.
Reid’s been working the case for months and believes Levins is in Baldwin County dead or alive.
“The evidence suggests and the information we’ve received indicates he is somewhere nearby at least. He didn’t have a vehicle. The friends he had here didn’t take him anywhere outside of the county so I don’t believe he would be anywhere but somewhere here, at least in Alabama,” said Reid.
Investigators of the case and friends and family of Kyle Levins ask if you know anything about his disappearance call the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office.
