The 2017 NCAA Football National Champion Crimson Tide will be honored at the White House today.

The team is scheduled to meet President Donald Trump on the White House South Lawn this afternoon.

Head Coach Nick Saban told players to put politics aside and appreciate the honor, according to one player. “Just to be able to say that you’ve gone to the White House is something that you can cherish forever,” the player reportedly said.

The Crimson Tide visited the White House after four national championships during Barack Obama’s administration.
