“Couldn’t believe it.” Neighbors talk about couple involved in murder-suicide

We’re learning more about the 3 people involved in a murder suicide along I-10 in Milton, Florida.

The couple lived at a Dallas apartment complex.  Those who knew them say they are simply stunned, that they seemed like the perfect couple. The suspect, Larry Donell Stuart, even worked for the company. A coworker says he spoke with Stuart about Noon on Monday and Stuart said that he wouldn’t be in because he was  “on his way to do something important.”  That ‘something’ it appears was to track down his live-in girlfriend, 35 year old Jessica Quinones.

A neighbor says Quinones had packed her things Monday and was heading to Florida to live with her sisters.  She and her 18-year-old daughter, Destiny Snider, stopped at a rest stop in Santa Rosa County, Florida around 9:15 Monday night.  That’s when police officials there say Stuart, who had obviously been either following or tracking them, pulled off as well. Investigators say he went car to car searching for Quinones, and when he found her, he shot them both. Quinones died at the scene. Destiny Snider underwent surgery Friday.

A co-worker, Santos Vargas, says he at first didn’t want to believe the horrible news, “when i found out it was true, I had this pain like in my heart… like I still couldn’t believe it. But, it’s true. I still feel kinda weird in my heart… still processing.”

Destiny, is a senior at WT White High School in Dallas. She is expected to survive.
