BREAKING: Mobile Fire Investigators Make Arson Arrest

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Mobile Fire-Rescue investigators have arrested a 19-year old, and are searching for his accomplice, in connection to starting a house fire on Friday.

19-year old Alex Williams was arrested and charged with Arson 2nd and Burglary 3rd, according to Mobile Fire-Rescue.  They say Williams is a suspect in several burglaries in the Toulminville area.

Firefighters arrived at 909 Minor Street around 9:48 a.m. to find heavy smoke and flames showing from the rear of the structure, according to a press release from Mobile Fire and Rescue.  Investigators later determined that the fire had been set.

After a short foot pursuit with fire and police, Williams later confessed to starting the fire, according to Mobile Fire and Rescue.

Investigators are searching for Calender Stokes.  Stokes is described as a 4’5″ black female, about 196 pounds.
